Established in 2006 at Kirtland Air Force Base in New Mexico, the Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center (AFNWC) is the nucleus of America's deterrent operations. As part of the Air Force Acquisition team, we acquire, sustain, modernize and support the nation's most powerful weapon systems – our nuclear arsenal – for the safety and security of the United States, and the world.

We offer a unique experience that civilians won’t find anywhere else – the opportunity to put your skills to work protecting our nation and our allies to ensure stability among nuclear powers and help preserve our way of life. You may not fly the planes, and you may not serve in combat. But at AFNWC, we are all Airmen.
